Caunton Engineering HQ Phase 1

Caunton Engineering is one of the UK’s leading structural steelwork contractors, employing more than 250 people from their plant near Nottingham.

As part of their natural growth plans, they turned to Opus 4 to design, manage and deliver a complete overhaul of their headquarters.

The Production Building formed the first phase of this exciting project.

To create the new Production Office, we stripped out an old manufacturing space with plant equipment.  Once the area was clear, we built a mezzanine floor which housed office space above and an engaging canteen and break-out space below, along with new changing rooms and toilet facilities.

The space was created in a ‘refurb’ style with all ductwork and services exposed in the ceiling, to create a visually striking impact.
