This month saw one of our dear old friends and longest serving client depart for pastures new.  After 37 years of managing the property portfolio of Bolesworth estate, David Tanswell has decided to hang up his Hunter wellies.    Andrew and Daniel fondly remember David giving them one of their first breaks in the world of fit-out and refurbishments when, as a couple of 24 year olds, David gave them a suspended ceiling job to ‘test the water’.   Daniel joked: “It’s not every day you get sent to a new enquiry at a castle!”

Sixteen years have passed since then and Opus4 has been proud to serve David and the whole team at Bolesworth.   This year is proving to be our biggest year so far at Bolesworth, with exciting fit-out projects at the stud farm and Chowley Oak.  We look forward to continuing our work with Matthew, Brian and the rest of the estate team.

There was only one way we could pay tribute to David.  Renowned for being one of The Rolling Stones’ biggest fans,  David ‘went viral’ in 2013, when his quirky dance moves were caught on camera at one of their Hyde Park shows.
