Opus4 has been named Construction Business Of The Year 2015 at the Pride Of Tameside Business Awards. The glittering award ceremony, which recognises the achievements of business in Tameside across their respective fields, was held at the Village Urban Resort Hotel in Ashton.
Chief Judge, Phill Brown MBE said: “We were impressed with Opus4’s commitment to the apprenticeship scheme, their passion for the local business community in Stalybridge and most of all, their successful year which has seen their turnover almost double from the previous year.”
The fit-out and refurbishment sector has remained buoyant throughout 2015 and Opus4 has attracted new, blue-chip clients including Nando’s and DLG Group. The organic growth of the business has led to an influx of new starters, including new apprentice joiners and electricians in the fit-out teams and an apprentice IT & Web Designer in the office. Further appointments have been made to the Administration and Sales Teams and achievements have been recognised internally, with staff members promoted to new roles.
The Construction Business Of The Year award marks continued success, after Opus4 was recently named the First TransPennine Express ‘Contract Partner Of The Year’. Managing Director, Daniel Blackburn said: “We’re having our most successful year in business and it’s great to be recognised by winning such a prestigious award. We’re very fortunate to have a fantastic, dedicated team of professionals in the office and on our sites, who remain as committed and focused as ever to ensure we deliver great value and service to our customers.”
