Opus4 has been shortlisted for the Construction Business of the Year Award at the Pride Of Tameside Business Awards 2015 (POBTA).  The winner will be announced at a prestigious awards dinner, at The Village Hotel, Ashton-Under-Lyne on Friday, 3 July.  POBTA aims to recognise the achievements of Tameside businesses, however large or small, in their respective fields.  The Construction Award is  one of nine awards which will be presented on the night.  POBTA Chair, Louise Marshall said: “I’m delighted to say that Tameside business remains as vibrant an innovative as ever and these awards are about celebrating the strength and diversity of our local economy.  Never has it been more important for us to highlight local business success stories and allow us to showcase what our borough has to offer”.

The nomination marks a continued period of success for Opus4.  Currently the First Transpennine Express ‘Contract Partner of the Year’, the respected design and build fit-out specialist has staffing levels grow by more than 40%, recruitment of new joinery and electrical apprentices, and a sharp increase in turnover during 2015.  Andrew Jackson, Marketing Director for Opus4 said:  “It’s great to be nominated for such a prestigious local award.  We’re proud of our Tameside roots and try to take an active involvement in the local business community, through our recruitment partnership with Tameside College, our membership of local business forums and integrating local trades into our supply chain”.
