Slater & Gordon, a prominent law firm with offices across the UK, partnered with us to create a hybrid working environment in their London office. The goal was to design a business lounge-style space that would attract team members back to the office while also accommodating the specific operational needs of a legal firm, including file storage, document services, and printing. This project is part of an ongoing collaboration with Slater & Gordon, following successful fit-outs in Cardiff, Liverpool, and Manchester.
Solutions and Approach
To meet the needs of Slater & Gordon, we delivered a comprehensive Cat B fit-out, incorporating modern design elements, functional spaces, and technology:
- Business Lounge Environment: Created a welcoming, business lounge-style atmosphere to encourage staff to see the office as a destination workspace.
- Hybrid Working Areas: Designed a mix of quiet zones, meeting rooms, collaboration spaces, and breakout areas to support flexible work styles.
- File Storage and Document Services: Integrated areas for secure file storage and document handling to meet the firm’s operational requirements.
- Technology-Enhanced Spaces: Installed the Evoko room booking system for meeting room management and a Resonic acoustic digital sound masking system to maintain privacy.
- Voice and Data Installation: Updated voice and data infrastructure to ensure the office is fully equipped for modern, flexible working needs.
- Coffee Bars and Reception Lounge: Developed a relaxed reception lounge and coffee bars to enhance the office’s appeal and support informal interactions.
- Bespoke Joinery and Wall Graphics: Provided custom joinery and stylish wall graphics to reflect Slater & Gordon’s brand identity.
- Acoustic and Lighting Solutions: Integrated seamless acoustic glass, ceiling baffles, and feature lighting to create a comfortable and visually appealing environment.
- Kitchen and Amenities: Installed kitchens with modern appliances, hot taps, and additional amenities to increase convenience for staff.
