Vextrix, a multidisciplinary consultancy known for its creative and collaborative culture, appointed Opus 4 to transform a newly acquired shell unit in Castlefields into a dynamic and functional workspace. The goal was to create an office that reflected their innovative approach while making practical use of the building’s existing mezzanine and unique structural features.
 

  • The client purchased a retail and office unit in Castlefields which was an empty shell.
  • The design needed to incorporate a full mechanical and electrical installation, including toilets, showers, a kitchen, and breakout spaces.
  • The client wanted to make use of the existing mezzanine floor while integrating bespoke joinery to maximise storage and fit the building’s unique structure.
