Based on Grimsby Dock and serving as a hub for offshore wind farms, RWE Humber Hub plays a crucial role in supporting renewable energy operations. However, the existing facilities had limited social and welfare spaces for staff. With no nearby amenities for employees to access during their breaks, RWE recognised the need for a larger kitchen and breakout space to create a more comfortable and social environment for their team.
The project aimed to enhance staff wellbeing, encourage social interaction, and improve recycling and waste management practices within the office.
To meet RWE’s goals, Opus 4 delivered a full refurbishment of the welfare and breakout spaces, with careful consideration to ensure minimal disruption as the building remained fully operational throughout the project.
